Great book for Java

This book guides the reader through all the core features of Java, and some more recent innovations, in a way that builds skills and confidence throught tried and trusted stages, supported by exercises. Using this book, the reader is introduced to all the most useful and commonly applied Java syntax and libraries, and is provided with many example program that can provide the basis for more substantial application.

This book is designed as your all-in-one introduction to the world of building data-driven Web sistes using ASP.NET. It's intended to be read from beginning to end, rather than by dipping in at random points, as you may do with other, more reference-type books.
